Appraiser III Garland County Government Hot Springs National Park, AR 71901 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Appraiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data collection, financial analysis, and quantitative research. As an Appraiser, you will be responsible for evaluating properties and providing accurate assessments that inform financial decisions. Your expertise in tax regulations, and GIS (Geographic Information Systems) will be essential in delivering comprehensive appraisals. Responsibilities Conduct thorough data collection and analysis to evaluate property values accurately. Prepare detailed financial reports and appraisals based on quantitative research. Utilize GIS tools to assess property locations and market trends effectively. Analyze tax implications related to property assessments and valuations. Collaborate with clients to understand their appraisal needs and provide expert guidance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, regulations, and appraisal methodologies. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including property owners, real estate agents, and financial institutions. Qualifications Proven experience in data collection and financial analysis within the real estate sector. Strong understanding of tax regulations related to property appraisal. Proficiency in quantitative research methods and financial report writing. Familiarity with LIHTC programs is highly desirable. Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues. Proficient in using GIS software for property analysis is a plus.
