Property Documentation Assistant (Contract, Part-Time) Total Inventory LLC Maitland, FL 32751 Job Description Total Inventory LLC is offering an opportunity for a Property Documentation Assistant to support our team on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll assist in creating detailed inventories for insurance claims as needed. Most project work is scheduled around the customer’s availability and typically takes place during regular business hours. Position Overview You will work closely with our project managers to document personal property contents for insurance claims, often in environments impacted by fire, smoke, or water damage. This is a project-based role, with assignments varying, but often 3 days per week depending on business needs. Ideal candidates should be local to the Maitland, FL area, adaptable, detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist project managers in documenting personal property for insurance claims with accuracy and attention to detail. Catalog and input property details, including brand names and descriptions, into Excel spreadsheets. Knowledge various household and commercial items, including furniture, electronics, and other personal property. Set up and efficiently use a mobile workstation (foldable desk, chair, laptop). Maintain professional and courteous interactions with clients on-site.

Qualifications:
Experience :

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accurately typing detailed descriptions/data entry.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and handle common household or commercial items; willingness to wear protective gear (e.g., Tyvek suits, respirators) when necessary.

Environmental Adaptability :

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Location :

Based in or around Maitland, FL, with the ability to travel to project sites in the Greater Central Florida Area.

Typing Skills :

Must complete a typing speed test on Indeed skills assessment (minimum speed requirement provided upon application) or another website and submit results.

Education :

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Reliable Transportation :

Personal vehicle required; carpooling options available from the Maitland area.
