Job Description

Real Estate Appraiser Sun Point Appraisals, Inc North Carolina • Remote We are seeking License and/or Certified Appraisers to assist us with appraisals in the North Carolina. We are expanding and looking for a few qualified individuals. We are open to a non exclusive staff appraiser position. This means you keep doing what you are doing and we work to get you additional work with our Team. Our Team here at Sun Point Appraisals would be in charge of providing you assignments, maintaining and establishing you with Vendor accounts with established Lender, Bank, and AMC clientele. If you are available to take on additional appraisal assignments or looking to establish yourself with a 20 year established appraisal firm serving North Carolina send us a copy of your current license, E and O policy, resume, and a sample 1004 to support@sunpointappraisals.com. Compensation is based on individual assignments at market rate and a agreed upon straight split fee. Lender, Bank, Credit Union, AMC, and Individual owners assignment requests. Qualifications Strong proficiency in data collection and quantitative research Expertise in financial analysis and real estate appraisal Solid mathematical skills and knowledge of financial concepts Familiarity with accounting principles and construction practices Experience with LIHTC, GIS, and financial report writing Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and tax experience Proficient in financial software applications Responsibilities Conduct thorough data collection and quantitative research to assess property values. Perform detailed financial analysis and real estate appraisals to determine market value. Prepare comprehensive financial reports and documentation in compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Utilize financial software and GIS tools to enhance appraisal accuracy. Stay updated on accounting principles, construction trends, and LIHTC regulations to inform appraisal processes.
