Regulatory Affairs Specialist 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Mapleville, RI 02839 We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Regulatory Affairs Specialist with 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, specifically with expertise in regulatory codes, particularly USDA codes. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and codes governing the food industry. Responsibilities:

Research, interpret, and apply USDA codes and other relevant regulatory standards to ensure compliance with product labeling, packaging, and marketing materials Assist in the development and submission of regulatory documentation, including product registrations, notifications, and approvals Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide regulatory guidance and support throughout the product development lifecycle Monitor and track regulatory changes and updates to ensure that products are in alignment with the latest requirements Participate in regulatory agency communications and inspections as needed Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions and responses to inquiries from regulatory authorities

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (food science, regulatory affairs, etc.) 2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on regulatory codes, especially USDA codes Strong understanding of federal regulations and guidelines related to food labeling and packaging Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey regulatory requirements and information to internal stakeholders
