Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantitative Risk Analyst to support its growing annuity business. This role plays a key part in managing financial risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making across capital management, enterprise risk, hedging, investments, and reinsurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Capital & Risk Management:
Monitor capital ratios and support enterprise risk frameworks to identify and mitigate risks.
Hedging & Investments:
Develop hedging strategies and assess investment risks to align with company goals.
Reinsurance Modeling:
Collaborate with actuaries to build and validate financial and reinsurance models.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to evolving federal and state regulations in the annuity space.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong foundation in market, credit, operational, and liquidity risk. Deep knowledge of insurance, annuities, and investment products. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills. Proficient in risk modeling, financial analysis, and data visualization.

Excel (advanced), Power BI/Tableau, Python (Pandas, NumPy),
SQL, VBA Risk Software:
MATLAB, Bloomberg, Moody’s Analytics, VaR & stress testing tools
Platforms:
AWS, Azure, Hadoop/Spark, Charles River, Aladdin Compliance Tools:
AxiomSL, Wolters Kluwer Qualifications:
