Description Summary:

The IT Risk Principal will have the opportunity to provide oversight of data and AI processes and associated risks as the Bank continues its growth journey. The 2nd line of defense role will partner with all lines of defense across the bank to drive continuous improvement activities related to IT initiatives, in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Framework.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide Risk Management leadership across the Bank’s data and AI processes Engage with subject/domain owners to provide effective challenge of strategy, decisions, roadmaps, tools/solutions, policies/standards, findings/action plans/risk acceptances, etc. Provide deep inspection of products/services, projects, software efforts Creates and maintains 2nd line procedures and processes; may have ownership of executing one or more regular processes within 2nd line Provides expert counsel as needed to your partners in front/1st/2nd/3rd line functions Establish appropriate monitoring mechanisms to assess data and AI risks Validate if issues are appropriately addressed and mitigated Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of work experience At least 3 years of related experience in Data Risk Management and AI Governance. This includes a comprehensive understanding of AI system deployment, risks and governance. Must have experience managing risks across the complete data lifecycle with a comprehensive understanding of data risk control environments and associated monitoring activities.
