In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Business Execution challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Responsibilities:

Manage strategic initiatives with Finance teams to strategize, plan, and execute on risk and governance deliverables. Demonstrate thought leadership to strengthen relationships and influence business leaders and stakeholders. Work closely with Finance application business owners (ABOs) on risk attestations and certifications. Provide follow-up and report results to Finance leaders. Responsible for initiating discussions around risk and governance requirements within the FTO Product groups and proactively identify remediation recommendations. Collaborate with global team members to develop and document new controls and processes supporting Finance risk deliverables. Liaise with risk, governance, Audit and Finance team members to effectively and efficiently complete required documentation and exercises by dedicated due dates. Direct and administer risk activities within the Finance team. Assign work, due dates and provide constructive feedback to business partners. Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation projects. Manage and maintain documentation library. Responsible for version control and access management. Manage group RMEO calendar, facilitate meetings and keep team abreast of upcoming deliverables. Create reporting for Finance leadership via Excel and PowerBI. Partner with risk governance and enterprise finance groups on risk disciplines including, but not limited to; Model Risk, EUCT, BCP, RCSA, COSO, Third Party Risk, Data Management, Records Management, Issues and Corrective Actions, and Internal Audit and other testing teams. Identify areas of opportunity to improve team’s performance metrics focusing on continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Outstanding leadership, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills with ability to anticipate risks and opportunities and turn findings into tactical and strategic imperatives. Advanced Excel skills required include proficiency with nested formulas, data tables and pivot tables. Strong PowerPoint skills, Microsoft word, OneNote skills. Intermediate knowledge and skillset of PowerBI and/or Alteryx. Strong attention to detail but able to understand the big picture. Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional strategic initiatives. Ability to build relationships, effectively communicate and influence others. Finance acumen with the ability to understand or explain complex financial concepts to team members outside of finance and align business processes to risk management programs. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to make sound decisions and adapt to diverse audiences while maintaining composure. Strong administrative and time management skills Familiarity with Wells Fargo internal applications and risk platforms (preferred) Business System Support experience (preferred)
