Our flexible, hybrid work model offers the option to work remotely or in the office. How you’ll contribute: As a Risk Governance Analyst within the Corporate Risk Management (CRM) organization, you’ll be working with CRM Leadership to execute the organization’s governance strategy and reporting capabilities and supporting the regulatory risk program. This position will entail work that has a mid-level degree of complexity and will require strong organizational and project management skills. This is an important role in the application and maintenance of the Brighthouse risk governance framework as well as supporting the risk assessment of new and amended laws and regulations that may apply to the Company. In this role, you’ll get to: Manage the preparation and periodic review and updating of governance documentation, including charters, policies, and other risk governance framework documents.
Supports senior risk committee meetings, including agenda planning, preparation of meeting materials and minutes
Supports all Board reporting and key external reports such as regulatory filings and rating agency updates
Monitors new and pending legal and regulatory requirements introduced by applicable regulators, including state insurance departments, state securities divisions, FINRA, and the SEC to determine risk to Brighthouse.
May act as project lead on key initiatives We’re looking for people who have: Attention to detail

Highly developed oral and written communication skills, in particular, the ability to draft well-written reports, and communicate effectively
High level of proficiency with Microsoft suite of products, specifically Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.
2-4 years of related work experience, preferably in the financial services industry within risk management or compliance
Paralegal or experience interpreting laws and regulations

- Base salary ranging from $95,000
- $115,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
