Job Description U.S. Bank’s Risk Management and Compliance (RM&C) Business Line CRO Risk Program Oversight (RPO) team partners with key stakeholders across RM&C to enable adherence to the Company’s Risk Management Framework. The team provides support and collaboration, acting as the central point of contact for risk management and compliance matters. The team is committed to upholding our company’s risk appetite while fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Its goal is to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure smooth and efficient business operations. The team works to assist partners in navigating the complexities of risk management and compliance to protect and enhance the value of the organization. The RM&C Operational Risk Framework Lead will have an exciting opportunity to be part of the RPO team, responsible for supporting adherence to key Operational Risk Framework programs. A successful candidate in this role will be effective at navigating the simultaneous delivery of multiple objectives within the Issue Management and Product Risk Management (PRISM) processes, among other second line of defense programs. The candidate should be comfortable questioning existing processes and solutions and display a keen sense of risk management. The candidate should also exhibit problem-solving skills and thrive when working across teams. The candidate in this role should be curious and stay on top of emerging trends, operational risk topics, and the risk environment within which we operate.

Additional skills and responsibilities include:

Lead RM&C BL Issue Management program, including oversight of issue pipeline, quality assurance including a review and credible challenge of closure memos for completeness prior to BL CRO approval, Issue Coordinator communication and training, policy and procedure management, reporting, and engagement of senior management of upcoming activities where necessary. Participate and provide insights on Issue Management-related vetting and risk exposures; support BL CRO Office with Issue verification and validation where appropriate Lead RM&C Business Change Inventory Questionnaire (BCIQ)/Product Risk Management (PRISM) program, including oversight, Business Line Change Coordinator (BLCC) communication and training, policy and procedure management and reporting Evaluate RM&C-submitted PRISMs by performing initial and final Senior Business Line Risk Manager (SBLRM) reviews, focusing on and credibly challenging details of submitted business or product changes, 2LOD specialist review summaries, outstanding risk mitigation items, and overall risk ratings. Strong sense of ownership, ability to anticipate needs, and drive for results with minimal supervision Capable of achieving agreement and driving decisions in challenging scenarios Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience Typically more than six years of applicable experience, preferably in an applicable risk management environment Preferred Skills/Experience Advanced understanding of RM&C’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills Considerable knowledge of second line risk programs, policies and procedures Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to connect with RM&C leadership (MC-2) Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Pay Range:

$98,175.00 – $115,500.00 – $127,050.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
