Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant within Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) Operations for the Fraud and Claims Management (FCM) Payment Card Claim Analytics team. Detection Strategy and Analytics partners with product, channel, risk and technology teams to develop and provide secure, reliable, scalable and customer friendly prevention, investigation and claims services that protect customers and Wells Fargo from fraud losses. In this role, you will:
Support Payment card claim analytics including Credit and Debit cards, fraud and non-fraud claimsSupport Payment Card claim root cause analytics including claims, recoveries and net lossesProvide analytics support to claim operations team to optimize claim decision quality, customer and operational impactAct as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needsLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterpriseDeliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activitiesProvide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterpriseEnsure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managedStrategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadershipAdvise experienced leadership to develop or influence fraud strategies, statistical modeling, and advanced data visualization for complex business and technical needsEnable data analysis, modeling, and optimization through strategic design and production effortsApply data science and statistical techniques to drive data driven decision making and solve complex business problemsMentor or manage more less experienced staff, interns, and external contractors; Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentorCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsAssist managers and leaders in building quarterly and annual plans and forecast future market research needs for business partners supported
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with fraud and non-fraud claims resolution processes, regulatory requirements (e.g. Reg E, Reg Z), and card network rules (Visa/Mastercard)Payment card experience including credit and/or debit card, experience with payment card claim analytics including fraud and non-fraud claims, etc.
Knowledge and understanding of payment card claims including strategies to reduce loss exposures while minimizing customer and operational impactExperience designing and optimizing complex SQL and/or SAS queries involving complex joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tablesExperience in Python, Unix programming and automations via Crontab and/or Visual BasicExperience in big data extractions, manipulations, and analytics across multiple platforms/systemsPredictive modeling experience (including logistic regression)Advanced experience in pivot table analysis in ExcelExperience in Business Intelligence visualization using TableauIntermediate Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint presentation skillExperience with complex business cost-benefit analysisAbility to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areasExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsBachelor’s Degree or higher in a quantitative disciplineExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
