About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Institutional Investment Operations Specialist that will be responsible but not limited to the below tasks: They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation, and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements. In this role, you will: Product development for the corporate actions infrastructure and associated platforms to support this. This entails managing the book of work, partnering with Tech for functional requirements, functional application and deployment. Working with Agent Banks, Custodians, and external counterparties to ensure complete understanding of events and ensuring data flows are correct with respect to event processing. Communicating with Operations colleagues, Technology Partners, Project Managers and Middle and Front Office Business Partners.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years in Capital Markets Broker Dealer Operations experience. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Asset Services and Corporate Actions. Knowledge and understanding of Broadridge applications, preferred to have knowledge with BANCS (corporate actions processing platform). Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of stock loan, securities, and derivative products as related to corporate actions. Knowledge of DTCC and non-US depositories (e.g. Euroclear; Clearstream) for all aspects of corporate actions processing. Experience working with custodians, depositories, agents, and external brokers to ensure timely and accurate processing of events to client accounts and to appropriately manage risk. Risk management for events processed and maintenance of associated procedures and overall oversight of Risk & Control Framework, Self-Identified Issues and Corrective Action resolution management.
