Associate Director, DSE Entity Intelligence & Company Financials, FactSet Research Systems Inc.,

Manage a team of engineers or projects within the DSE Entity Intelligence & Company Financials department. Coordinate with Engineering and Product Development leadership to define goals and resource needs. Work with management team, Product Managers, Software Engineers and other teams to map resource demands to individual projects and groups and participate in regular business planning sessions. Optimize organizational structure of department, making changes where necessary to insert leadership and support scale.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field and at least 8 years of software engineering experience. Must have experience with the following; Windows, Linux, VMS, iOS, C, C++, Bash, STL, Boost, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JSON, Eclipse and Profiling tools, Object Oriented Programming, Multi-threaded Programming and Parallel & Distributed Systems, developing and supporting new applications, calculation engines, and underlying infrastructure for portfolio construction, portfolio analysis, portfolio reporting, quantitative model building, risk analysis, and fixed income analysis, front-end application development, diagnosis and resolution of client bugs and issues, implementation of financial models, and loading of client and third-party data. Must have full software engineering lifecycle experience. Basic pay range is two hundred fifty six thousand dollars to two hundred eighty six thousand dollars per year for full -time employment (Mon. – Fri. 9-5).
