Description of Duties:

The Risk Manager supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

The candidate will:

Implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls. Identify potential risks across the organization, including internal and external factors, and assess their likelihood and potential impact. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks, including risk avoidance, transfer, reduction, and acceptance. Monitor the effectiveness of risk management controls and procedures, and report on risk exposures and trends to senior management. Advise leadership on risk exposures and strategic risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate risk management information and build consensus on risk mitigation strategies across IRES. Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations. Prepare and present risk reports to leadership. Lead risk incident investigations and root cause analyses. Participate in program meetings to become familiar with program details, including terminology, points of view, operating constraints, issues and goals Facilitating IRES Director level RIO meetings as part of the IRES Program Review Board (PRB) Presenting program RIO information at formal reviews Keeping the IRES Program management team informed regarding current MDA RIO policies and policy documents Resumes, in month and year format, must be submitted with application in order to be considered for the position. The selected candidate may be assigned as an employee for one of our teammate companies.

Basic Requirements:

DoD Secret Security Clearance Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience in risk management Professional certifications are highly desirable. Knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO 31000). Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive risk-informed decision-making. This position is expected to pay $100,000 – $125,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
