• Responsibilities:

• + Responsible for risk management activities, including event management, event analysis, risk assessments, risk education and regulatory readiness in the assigned facility/division.

+ Provides risk reduction recommendations to the organization. + Complies with the department policies and procedures. + May access patient medical records to perform job functions. + Supports physicians and facility leadership in the disclosure to patients and/or family of patients who are subject to an adverse event. + Investigates every allegation of sexual misconduct against team members with direct patient contact and reports such events to include, but not limited to, the Department of Health when applicable. + Through education and/or experience, the Risk Manager will demonstrate competencies required by Florida Statute.

• 3 years’ registered nurse

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related field + Preferred
• Doctorate Juris Doctor

• Certifications:

• CPHRM, CPSO, ARM, and CRM
