Job Description

Risk Management Analyst 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 803 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, GA 31093

What You’ll Do:

Assist with completion of risk assessments and control reviews for the credit union’s functional areas from an unbiased and objective view. o Review guidelines and procedures in effort to address, communicate and remediate deficiencies related to higher risk items. o Recommend changes in processes or procedures to help mitigate risk. o Aid in the development of escalation processes that address high-risk mitigation efforts that remain unresolved. Ensure new vendors receive the appropriate level of due diligence and assist with the completion of vendor risk assessments within appropriate intervals. Complete other Risk Management tasks as determined by the Risk Manager. Support the Information Security Audit activities as necessary. Demonstrate teamwork by exhibiting the following: contributing to a team effort, initiative, dependability, positive attitude, good attendance, tact, and diplomacy.

What You Need To Succeed :
Job Education and Experience Required:

o High school diploma or equivalent o BS/BA college degree in a Business related discipline (Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management). If no degree, 5 years relevant work experience. o 2 years progressive experience in a financial service industry to include general risk management knowledge with risk support and/or auditing experience. Preferred Education, Certifications & Experience (addition to above): o Working knowledge of financial industry regulations, laws and guidelines

Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:

o Knowledge of the risk pillars within the financial services industry. o Working knowledge of risk assessments, vendor due diligence and/or control environment testing. o Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to collect, compile, analyze information and present it in an understandable manner to differing levels of management. o Ability to make sound recommendations in support of risk mitigation efforts
