Senior Manager – Corporate Risk – ControlGovernance & Oversight Corporate Risk is seeking a hard-working anddriven professional to join the team! You will support businessesacross Fidelity in strengthening control environment acrossdifferent products and programs. As Senior Manager ControlGovernance & Oversight, you will help in efficiently andeffectively documenting controls and their application acrossprograms and businesses.
Fidelity’s risk management and complianceprograms have several risks and controls defined for effectivecompliance with regulations, robust technology infrastructure andefficient business operations. This position is accountable fordeveloping and maintaining framework for managing risks and controllifecycle. This will include consistent review and update ofexisting risks and controls, onboarding new programs and products,analysis and reporting, establishing relationships with seniorbusiness leaders, playing a key role in team initiatives, andmentoring team members.
The Expertise You Have Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experiencepreferred Prior 7+ years of proven experience in financial services, riskmanagement, audit, or compliance required Ability to identify risks and document strong controls whilealso maintaining control attributes to ensure the continuedoptimization of the control environment supporting regulatorycompliance Understanding of alternative investment products, such asdirect lending, crypto, and real estate a plus Strong knowledge of various risk management practices andframeworks Understanding of Financial Services Regulations andRequirements (i.e., SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, etc.) and experienceassessing regulatory impacts on compliance programs Understanding of GRC systems such as Archer Leader with ability to navigate and influence across theorganization Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsevidencing Shown success in collaborative leadership and working withexecutive leaders and internal business partners Excellent communication skills, including crafting PowerPointpresentations and taking large volumes and/or complex informationand presenting is a way that is easy to understandThe Skills YouBring You are skilled in documenting and maintaining robust controlstatements You demonstrate risk management knowledge and experience,including risk assessment and control evaluation You show critical thinking by approaching work with an openmind and sense of creativity, curiosity and challenging currentpractices and recommending improvements to mitigate risks and drivepositive change You work comfortably in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentbalancing multiple projects simultaneously with minimal day-to-daysupervision with the ability to prioritize and shift focus quicklybased on risk/business need You have excellent verbal and written communication skills You are decisive and take action to seek solutions You can assess information from multiple angles and break downcomplex information into concepts and data to drive insights andaction You are able to thrive in a dynamic organization wherepriorities shift to respond to business needsThe Value You Deliver Promote a strong control environment by documenting robust riskand control statements, managing overlap with other complianceprograms to promote a philosophy of test once, leverage multipletimes, and making sound recommendations for improvement Continuously analyzing and assessing the risk profile of thebusinesses Ensure all controls are appropriately documented in Next GenGRC system Adaptable to new information, changing business priorities,input from others, and lessons learned Work simultaneously on multiple projects and shift accordinglyas priorities change Developing innovative solutions using technology and automationand influencing relevant outcomes Serving as a trusted advisor to the business by performingtrainings and education Build strong and inclusive working relationships, in person andvirtually, with business partners and colleagues Establishing positive relationships across multiple businesseswithin Fidelity Collaborate to achieve the best results for the team andFidelity Participate in initiatives to improve existing processes withinthe Risk team and champion an inclusive team environment.

Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for thispositionThe base salary range for this position is $81,000-$137,000per year. Placement in the range will vary based on jobresponsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’srelevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part ofthe total compensation package. Depending on the position andeligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonusor other variable compensation.
