Position Summary:
The Risk Administrative Assistant provides support to the Risk Management team by maintaining accurate data records, supporting claims administration, and ensuring smooth coordination between internal departments and 3rd party partners. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update multiple spreadsheets to track incident data, claims, compliance metrics, and risk indicators. Provide timely and accurate information to insurance providers, legal teams, and other external partners upon request. Assist with the organization and assembly of claim files, ensuring proper documentation and data integrity. Support the Risk Management team in administrative tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, and internal reporting. Perform ad-hoc duties and special projects as needed to support the broader objectives of the Risk department. Job Qualifications:
1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in transportation, logistics, or risk management is a plus. Experience updating incident and claims data within RMIS platforms (e.g., FileHandler, Origami, Riskonnect) is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data tracking tools. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.2 years safety or HR related work experience is preferred
