POSITION SUMMARY
- This risk role in the first line of defense willwork within the Community Banking Division to identify systemic issuesand control weaknesses and support compliance and operational riskmitigation efforts. This person will work closely with CommunityBankings business units to implement control frameworks and supportongoing risk assessments in alignment with banking laws and internalstandards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conductregularandad-hocriskassessmentsacrossCommunityBank,workingwithbusinessunitsto identify potential compliance, operational, and reputational risks
- Collaborate with product, operations, marketing, and the Banks Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory disclosures(e.g.,TruthinSavingsAct,RegulationDD,RegulationE)areaccurate,up-to-date,andproperly delivered
- Monitorandassesscompliancewithapplicablebankingregulations,internalpolicies,andlegal requirements affecting deposit accounts, and report results to the Banks Compliance Officer
- SupportthedesignofcontrolsandinternalmonitoringroutineswithintheCommunityBankslineof business
- DevelopandmaintainCommunityBanksriskandcontroldocumentation,includingriskandcontrolself
- assessments, issue logs, and action plans
- ForCommunityBank,analyzeandreportonriskindicators,controlgaps,riskevents,andoperational losses to business stakeholders and the second line of defense Enterprise Risk Management team
- ActasCommunityBankspointofcontactforinformationrequestsfromEnterpriseRiskManagementin connection with internal audits and exams
- ParticipateinCommunityBanksnewproductdevelopmentandchangeinitiativestohelpevaluate compliance and risk impacts
- Monitorandreviewdeposit-relatedcustomercomplaintstoidentifypotentialcomplianceissues
- Provideriskandcomplianceguidanceandtrainingtodeposit-focusedbusinessandoperationsstaff,in consultation with the Banks Compliance Officer
- MonitorandassistwithmaintainingtheCommunityBankingDivisionsassignedvendorsthroughthe Banks established Third-Party Relationship Management Program.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelors degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
- 5-7yearsofexperienceinbankingriskandcompliance,preferablywithinthedepositproductdomain
- Strongknowledgeofrelevantbankinglawsandregulations,includingRegulationCC,RegulationDD, Regulation E, UDAAP, and other consumer protection laws and banking regulations
- Experiencewithriskframeworkssuchasriskandcontrolassessments,issue/complaintmanagement,and control testing
- Excellentanalytical,organizational,andcommunicationskillswithattentiontodetail
- Abilitytoworkcross-functionallyandmanagemultipleprioritiesinafast-pacedenvironment
- ProfessionalcertificationssuchasCERP,CRCM,orCRMAareaplus
- Effectiveinterpersonalandcommunicationskills
