Lincoln Healthcare has partnered with a healthcare facility, in search of a Risk Management Specialist to join their team in George County, MS! The Director of Risk Management & Performance Improvement is responsible for leading and overseeing risk management initiatives to ensure a safe and compliant environment. This role focuses on regulatory adherence, patient safety, risk mitigation, and performance enhancement strategies.

Responsibilities:
Assess and address potential risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee incident reporting processes and risk management protocols. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain and enhance control systems. Lead facility-wide quality assurance and process improvement initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators and recommend enhancements. Work with leadership to optimize patient care and safety measures. Provide guidance on risk management, policy development, and compliance. Partner with key stakeholders to strengthen risk prevention strategies. Manage staff development, training, and performance evaluations. Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies. Support leadership in policy development aligned with safety and compliance goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of risk management experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role. Required certifications as per facility guidelines; training is available if needed. As a facility requirement, all candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting .
