We build, own, and manage 42 full and select-service hotels within the Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Best Western, and Hyatt brands. The Insurance Risk Manager is employed by Daly Seven corporate and will be responsible for various required coverage for property, liability, and workers compensation insurance for 42 hotels and 2 corporate offices. The Manager is also responsible for risk management for the company which includes the development and execution of safety programs, practices and procedures, as well as claims management and evaluation. Required Tasks Include but are Not Limited to: Claims demands: monitoring claims reporting, site visits regarding specific claim issues, coordination of cost information; quarterly claim review Carrier needs: meetings with broker and carriers to renew; inspection visits with carriers; implementation of carrier recommendations Continuing development of protocols for claims investigation to ensure smooth claims filing and proper documentation and procedures Work with WC carrier to implement consistent training procedures for hotel jobs to decrease employee injuries

Training:

Preparation and coordination of claims training for hotel management at hotel locations Safety inspections for each property during the calendar year and providing inspection reports Prep for renewal by providing verified and updated data for Executive application, statement of values, drivers, vehicles, named insured, etc; meeting with other corporate employees to confirm property information; meeting with brokers as applicable

Legal Responsibilities:

Review of legal documents Discussion with lawyers and employees Data gathering and follow up Prep of interrogatories Attend mediation hearings

Other Responsibilities:

Assist with Quarterly Board Reports Manage boat policies Attend training webinars/seminars to stay up to date on insurance industry

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license, clear MVR, clear background check Must be able to travel on a daily and/or weekly basis, occasionally overnight
