About the team The Complianceand Risk Management team at Paxos plays a key role in enabling thecompany to grow responsibly and securely. As the second line ofdefense, the team ensures we meet global regulatory standards andproactively manage enterprise-wide risk across Paxos. Our workhelps Paxos build trust, scale with confidence, and lead in theevolving world of crypto and financial services. About the roleWe’re looking for a dynamic risk professional to drive our ThirdParty Risk Management (TPRM) program and provide oversight oftechnology and information security risk at Paxos. This role iscentral to managing risk across critical vendors and strategicpartnerships, while ensuring alignment with evolving regulatoryexpectations. You’ll act as a second-line subject matter expert,delivering credible challenge and safeguarding compliance acrosstechnology and information security domains. In addition, you’llsupport Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) efforts by partnering withto ensure continuity in risk reporting, analysis, and operationalresilience. This role is central to strengthening our risk postureas we scale, and offers the opportunity to solve complex,cross-functional challenges that directly impact the security,scalability, and success of Paxos. What you’ll do: Lead and evolvePaxos’ Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, ensuring itscales effectively with the business and aligns with regulatoryexpectations. Own and conduct risk reviews for all businesspartnerships, helping shape the risk strategy behind Paxos’ mostcritical external relationships. Provide oversight and crediblechallenge for technology and information security risks, partneringwith Engineering and InfoSec to assess control effectiveness,resilience, and regulatory alignment. Partner closely with theEnterprise Risk Management (ERM) lead to support risk reporting,analysis, and ensure business continuity during peak or absenceperiods. Develop and refine risk frameworks, processes, and metricsthat enable scalable, data-driven decision making across Paxos.

Gain exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives such as new productlaunches, cloud infrastructure expansion, and strategicpartnerships—building expertise to become a trusted advisor onemerging risks.

About you:

5 years of experience in riskmanagement, compliance, or audit, with at least 2 years focused onthird-party risk, technology risk, or vendor oversight. Strongunderstanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standardsrelated to third-party risk, such as

SOC 2, ISO

27001, NIST, andFFIEC. Demonstrated experience assessing vendor/product/servicerisk in areas such as cybersecurity, data privacy, businesscontinuity, or operational resilience. Ability to analyze technicaldocumentation (e.g., security reports, penetration tests, auditfindings) and communicate risk implications to non-technicalstakeholders. Hands-on experience with risk assessmentmethodologies, control testing, and maintaining risk registers orissue/action tracking. Proficiency with GRC tools is required.

Familiarity with risk considerations in the crypto, fintech, ordigital assets space is preferred; a willingness to learn quicklyin this domain is required. Pay and benefits Paxos offers acompetitive total compensation and benefits package, includingequity and bonuses based on both your individual performance andcompany performance. Eligibility for bonuses is dependent on joblevel, and actual salary within the range depends on your skills,experience, and qualifications. Expected range for the base salarycomponent for candidates located within the United States is:$147,016—$172,961 USD
