Position Title:

Risk Management Analyst

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for managementreporting and analysis needed to provide effective risk managementsupport and analysis within organization. The candidate willwork directly with the Director or Risk Management and numerousstakeholders at all levels of the organization to support the riskmanagement needs.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for daily preparation, monitoring and analysis ofrisk management reporting
• reporting includes, but is not limitedto daily trade reporting, MtM, Position, Exposure, VaR and otherstatistical measurements
• Responsible for development of reporting needed to monitor allfunctions of the business outlined in the organization’s RiskManagement policy
• Responsible for daily confirmation activity between organizationand counterparties/brokers
• Will have daily interaction with multiple areas of the businessincluding, but not limited to Trading, Operations and Financeteams
• Support reporting and analysis needed at the executive managementteam level
• Support the development of new policies, procedures and internalcontrols within functions of the organization where needed

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in a business and/or mathematical/statisticaldisciplines
• 2-5 years minimum work experience, energy industry experience aplus
• Understanding of trading and derivative concepts
• Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills,including strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skill sets
• must beattentive to detail
• ability to take responsibility and ownershipof data integrity and apply self-checking techniques
• Experience with spreadsheet and database management, VBA or otherprogramming skills a plus
