Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of client contacts where teamwork is the key to success? We are now looking for an FX sales representative for our New York FICC team. You will be an integral part of our US FICC team covering the Foreign Exchange and Fixed income business based in New York City. In your role as FX Sales, you will actively prospect and grow our business in the region and ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly in our global network, covering home-market clients in the US time-zone. About the role FICC Markets comprise Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange (FX) and Commodities. FICC Markets provide sales, trading, advisory, research and development of financial instruments across these asset classes. You will work in a team of senior sales providing advisory and execution services to our client base, actively pitching trade and hedging ideas and secure the processes related to our client business The Foreign Exchange organization is a global team of around 120 individuals within FICC Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking Division (CIB) within SEB, including sales, traders, strategists and FICC Risk Advisors. FICC Markets is one of the largest business areas within CIB Division, and our main purpose in New York is to provide access to the financial markets for the Division’s Large Corporate and Financial Institution client base utilizing our global presence and product expertise. We are looking for a dynamic and driven team member to join our FX desk in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for the advisory sales coverage, pricing and execution of FX products (options, swaps, spot), prospect for clients active the in the Nordic macro landscape and actively pitching FX trade and hedging ideas on current market conditions in a highly competitive environment. You will oversee and enhance specific operational processes, stay on top of developments in the FX and global macro landscape and play an active role in client meetings and pitches. Additionally, you will support the ongoing business and develop SEB’s FX offering in New York, ensure client information and documentation is kept up to date, and serve as an important link in our global FX setup, collaborating closely with FICC teams in Europe and Asia to support SEB’s 24/5 market presence. A strong interest in global macro trends and financial markets is essential. Prior experience in e-FX or derivatives products, whether from a trading or sales perspective, is highly desirable. You are skilled at building strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues, and take pride in delivering excellent service. Experience working with and analyzing large datasets is a plus, especially if you have used insights to drive proactive sales initiatives.

n Your profile qualifications:

1- 5 years of experience in Financial Markets Bachelor´s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering or related field. Must hold or be willing to obtain FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Ability to work well under pressure, strong drive to succeed in a demanding and competitive environment Team-worker with strong interpersonal skills and excellent at building relationships Proficiency in both written and verbal communication Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills Proficiency with Bloomberg terminal Interested?
