Job Description:

At Regions, the Fiduciary Tax Analyst reviews account closing documents within Private Wealth Management and Institutional Services to ensure tax compliance. Primary Responsibilities Coordinates tax guidance to Wealth Advisors, Trust Advisors, and Relationship Consultants Organizes and communicates tax issues/exceptions that are identified by the business line or by the Bank’s preferred external tax provider May coordinate new account document reviews and monitor and handle tax refund checks May oversee tax payment processes Assists with tax preparation document gathering and managing the compliance workflow This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field OR High School Diploma and four (4) years of tax reporting or related experience Preferences Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Previous fiduciary tax experience Skills and Competencies Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management General understanding of fiduciary tax law and IRS regulations Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Proficient verbal, written communication, and organizational skills This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
