Vision, Medical, Life, Dental, 401K Summary TheSenior Tax Analyst will be exposed to a broad range of experienceswithin the global tax field while growing your knowledge of ourbusiness. The position will require interaction with employees inother departments/groups within the company. Primary Duties andResponsibilities Manage and coordinate preparation of federal, state and localincome/franchise tax returns. Prepare quarterly estimated tax calculations. Respond to notices from various taxing jurisdictions. Participate in tax audits by gathering supportingdocumentation, preparing supporting workpapers and draftingresponses. Prepare calculations supporting ASC 740 accounting andreporting, including the effective tax rate, deferred taxes,uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and taxfootnotes. Monitor and interpret tax law changes and the impact on taxpositions and calculations. Conduct tax research on as needed basis. Responsible for timely account reconciliations and requiredentries for all direct tax accounts. Support internal and external audit requirements. Coordinate with external service providers. Required Educationand Experience 5+ years of relevant work experience in direct tax. Experience with ASC 740 reporting. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. Preferred Educationand Experience College diploma or university degree in finance, businessadministration, or related discipline. CPA Certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Passion for learning. Strong analytical skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate and solve problems individually and as ateam.
