Tax Associate TP Group CPA Doral, FL 33172 Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax preparation. This role involves working closely with clients to provide comprehensive tax services, ensuring adherence to GAAP and other regulatory standards. Duties Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, S- corporations, partnerships and trusts. Perform general ledger reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting. Assist in regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. Utilize accounting software such as Xero and Quicken for efficient tax preparation and record-keeping. Collaborate with other accounting professionals to provide corporate accounting services as needed. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations that may impact clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks online is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and general ledger reconciliation. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Must be proficient in English and Spanish.
