As a Tax Associate, you will become part of our dynamic and diverse team, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development in a flexible, hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, analyzing financial information, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
DUTIES:
Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns Review financial records such as income statements and documentation Analyze financial information to determine tax implications Advise clients on tax planning strategies Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations Conduct research on tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws Assist with audits and resolve any tax discrepancies
REQUIREMENTS
3 years of experience working in public accounting (required) Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles (required) Experience in account reconciliation and accounts payable Proficiency in using accounting software Familiarity with financial services and sales concepts Understanding of Wills, Trusts, and Estate Law Ability to work as part of a team and independently Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Research and problem-solving skills.
