Role & Responsibilities:

Understanding of federal tax returns including but not limited to schedule Rs Filing tax forms 940 and 941 Provide second tier resolution for variances discovered through tax research Perform second level audit reviews of check recon process for approvals to finance Work closely with internal finance and accounting teams to provide updates and support of research requested. Provide input to the development of tax strategies. Advise accounting, attorneys, and finance on tax matters which affect the management of accounts. Analyze tax matters and drive appropriate business decisions by making recommendations and involving key business resources. Escalation liaison for Compliance Solution Team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience CPA preferred Ability to effectively articulate complex tax problems and solutions Strong technical tax knowledge and experience Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word
