The Tax Principal will lead the tax advisory and compliance services for our clients, ensuring adherence to all tax regulations and providing strategic tax planning solutions. This role will involve working closely with clients to develop tailored tax strategies that align with their business objectives and financial goals. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory services for corporate clients.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance client profitability.
Provide expert guidance on federal, state, and international tax issues.
Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax positions and strategies.
Assist clients with tax controversy matters, including audits and disputes with tax authorities.
Review and approve tax returns and related documents for accuracy and compliance.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to advise clients appropriately.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax strategies across all business functions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate tax, tax planning, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws and regulations.
Experience in tax research and the application of tax law in various scenarios.
Proven track record in managing tax audits and controversies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
