Atlanta GA 6 Degrees Group A global client of 6 Degrees Group is hiring for the role of Direct Tax Senior in Atlanta, GA. This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional seeking a dynamic environment where innovation, growth, and career advancement are at the forefront. This role will report to the Senior Director of Tax and focus on ASC 740 provision work, federal and state compliance, and strategic tax initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain ASC 740 income tax provisions and related documentation. Review corporate income/franchise tax returns and property tax filings. Support audits, tax research, reconciliations, and tax reporting (e.g., Form 8300). Monitor evolving tax laws and collaborate with internal teams to implement updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Tax preferred. CPA or actively pursuing CPA license. Minimum 3 years of income tax experience; public accounting a plus. Proficiency in ASC 740 and OneSource; strong tax research and reporting skills.
