As theSenior International Tax Analyst, you will ensure that GXO is incomplete compliance with all legal requirements pertaining toforeign income tax. You’ll impact several key areas including: thepreparation, review, and submission of all foreign income taxreturns; U.S. reporting of international affiliates andtransactions; and required payments and audit verifications. Youwill ensure that GXO accurately reports income taxes on itsfinancial documents, while seeking to minimize our overall foreignincome tax burden. Pay, benefits and more. Whatyou’ll do on a typical day: Participate in a hybrid work schedule:2-3 days onsite in our Charlotte, NC office, 2-3 days remote.
During tax due dates, all Tax team members are to be fully onsite.
Prepare quarterly and year-end provisions and US internationalcalculations including GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart
F, FTC, E&P,APB
23, Section 987, and 988 for global effective tax rate. Prepareand ensure internal control processes over U.S. internationalaspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) forglobal income tax provision. Ensure company’s foreign and U.S.international tax compliance and prepare forms 5471, 8858, 8865,8991, 8992, 8993, 8975, 1118, 5713, FBAR, and disclosurestatements. Perform tax account reconciliations, prepare, and remitestimated payments, and serve as a resource for international taxmatters and questions arising from cross-functional teams. Assistwith coordination, preparation, and filing of tax compliance forvarious foreign jurisdictions and perform return-to-provisioncalculations. Assist with transfer pricing calculations includingintercompany royalty, services, cost sharing, and assist withpreparation of transfer pricing documentation. Assist with M&Aand tax planning by modeling impacts of final and proposed taxlegislation; research and document foreign and U.S. internationaltax consequences of cross-border transactions. At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree orequivalent related work experience. 2 years of professionalexperience in a publicly traded corporation or a large publicaccounting firm. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word,PowerPoint, and CorpTax software. Experience conducting taxresearch using BNA, RIA, and other published source. It’d be greatif you also have: Advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation. 4years of professional experience in a publicly traded corporationor a large public accounting firm. CPA credential. Experience withOracle, HFM, and Alteryx. Strong organizational and interpersonalskills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Weengineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
