Salary:

Job Details Position Summary:

Weare currently looking for a qualified CPA designated professionalto assist the current Senior Tax Advisor in a non-traditionalpublic accounting role leading the tax team in the preparation andfiling of business, individual, trust, 501(c)3, and gift taxreturns. The Senior Tax Director will be charged with leading thetax department and collaborating with the financial advisors forclient tax optimization. This role will be primarily responsiblefor providing tax preparation and filing services for theindividual clients, businesses, trusts, and estates. Previousprofessional experience in personal tax filings is required. Theideal candidate will also manage all aspects of our internalfinancial operations and accounting, prepare and oversee thepreparation of client tax returns, and provide tax planning andstrategy research. This role also involves offering financialadvisory and planning services as time allows. This position doesNOT require the CPA to acquire new business for the firm but hasthe opportunity for revenue sharing if the CPA brings over currentor future relationships.

Qualifications:

Active CPA designationswith the state of North Carolina or reciprocity state. Extensiveexperience in tax planning, preparation, and tax strategy. 10 Yearsexperience preferred. Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to workcollaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in financial andaccounting software. Current tech stack includes CCH Axcess,QuickBooks, SafeSend, Bill.com, Excel, and Canopy. They alsooperate off of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of services.
