Job Description

  • About this role
  • Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join Corporate Tax. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of accounting for income tax computations in a fast paced, technically challenging environment.
  • In this role, you will:
  • + Perform Global (specifically USA) tax accounting and account reconciliation activities supporting the monthly, quarterly and year-end tax provision and tax account reconciliation processes.

+ Prepare monthly Tax provision work papers and assist in the preparation of the year-end external Tax audit work papers. + Support Tax Provision process by assisting in the monthly tax system maintenance and updating reports that support the monthly closing process + Collect and process accounting and income tax information. + Maintain documentation supporting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal audits.

  • Required Qualifications
  • + 2+ years of Corporate Tax, Public Accounting, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • + An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation + Masters degree in Accounting or Tax + 2+ years Corporate Tax Experience + Financial services industry experience + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines + Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability + Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience + Essbase and/or SmartView experience + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills + Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs •Job expectation•+ Ability to travel up to 5% of the time + Hybrid work arrangement + Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship + Flexibility to adjust work schedule in accordance to the time zone for the market you are supporting •Pay Range•Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
