Job Description
Description We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will play a key part in managing corporate tax compliance and analysis, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and international tax regulations. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of projects, including tax audits, provisions, and strategic planning initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements to identify and document book-to-tax adjustments.
- Prepare detailed workpapers for federal and state corporate income tax filings.
- Contribute to the consolidation process for the company’s federal income tax return.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing S Corporation and partnership tax returns.
- Calculate quarterly taxable income to support estimated tax deposit requirements.
- Review international tax submissions prepared by local country controllers.
- Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting essential income tax metrics.
- Support income tax audits by gathering data and preparing necessary documentation.
- Prepare the company’s tax provision in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Conduct tax research and draft memorandums to address complex tax issues. Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate tax analysis and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong understanding of federal tax regulations and corporate tax compliance processes.
- Experience preparing and reviewing federal tax returns and corporate tax filings.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify book-to-tax adjustments.
- Familiarity with international tax reporting requirements.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex tax concepts.
