Access to health benefits Overview As a Financial Analyst on the Cost Basis Team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of our Global Tax Lots system. You’ll process routine transactions, provide quality service to internal business partners and external clients, and contribute to efficient operations support. Responsibilities Process routine and standard transactions according to established procedures. Handle branch inquiries and client update requests regarding cost basis information in our Global Tax Lots system (received via New Service Gateway and email). Research and resolve transactional breaks that result in inaccurate cost basis, requiring manual updates. Analyze and generate reports related to cost basis. Provide quality service and efficient operations support to internal business partners and external customers/clients. Maintain accurate reporting of covered securities and tax lots to the Internal Revenue Service. Collaborate with less experienced team members, offering advice and assistance with training. Utilize independent thought to solve problems, escalating more complex issues to the Operations Team Manager and/or Supervisor. Overtime may be required to support business needs, particularly during Tax Season (January•April). Required Skills Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to effectively service and resolve client inquiries. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively and efficiently as an individual contributor in a team environment. Positive and professional attitude in a team-oriented, fast-paced work environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adhere to industry and IRS rules and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong understanding of rules and regulations, policies, and standards. Desired Experience Generally, 1 year or more of experience in a financial operations role. Some experience working with financial statements and records, with an emphasis on attention to detail. #TM2
