Responsibilities and practice Dentons US LLP is seeking a Senior Managing Associate with excellent academic credentials and 6+ years of experience to join our thriving Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice. The person hired for this position will work directly with partners and other team members and will contribute to the practice by assuming such responsibilities as: Contributing to the coordination and execution of successful corporate transactions including venture capital transactions and mergers & acquisitions Managing a broad range of corporate matters including domestic and international tax matters and fund formations Representing public and private companies, including real estate investment trusts (REITS), in a variety of corporate, tax, securities and real estate matters Advising clients on matters related to the formation, taxation, operation, and acquisition of real estate investment trusts and other entities Assisting in structuring, documents and preparing disclosure for securitizations and other structured financings Representing buyers, sellers and targets in stock purchases, asset purchases, mergers and joint ventures Conducting diligence reviews and coordinating deal closings Structuring transactions involving taxable and tax-free asset and stock acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations Supporting the practice by performing general research and writing This is a great opportunity to work with dedicated lawyers who are passionate about their work, all while enjoying the benefits of an international law firm. Pursuant to New York law, the salary for this position will be $435,000, based on experience. Based on years of experience, Dentons US LLP associates may have a title of Associate, Managing Associate, or Senior Managing Associate.
