The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverseportfolio of clients, preparing complex tax returns, and providingexpert tax advice. As a Tax Senior,your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:1. Preparation and review of federal and state income tax returnsfor individuals (1040), partnerships (1065), S Corporations, and CCorporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws andregulations. 2. Providing tax planning and consulting to ourclients, including researching and interpreting tax laws andregulations to provide expert advice. 3. Managing clientrelationships, including communicating complex tax concepts in aclear and concise manner to clients. 4. Assisting with thedevelopment and implementation of tax strategies to minimizeclients’ tax liabilities and maximize their financial growth. 5.Utilizing CCH Axcess software for tax preparation and research. 6.Collaborating with the team to improve internal processes andprocedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Job DetailsQualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Tax Senior positionshould possess the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor’s degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or Master’sdegree in Taxation is highly preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years ofexperience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation andplanning. 3. Extensive experience with 1040 individual returns,1065 partnership returns, and corporate returns for both S and Ccorporations. 4. Proficiency in using CCH Axcess software for taxpreparation and research. 5. Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to explain complex taxconcepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner. 6. Stronganalytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention todetail. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team,managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.8. A high degree of professionalism and integrity, with the abilityto handle confidential information with discretion.
