Research and analyze various federal income tax issues in connection with operating partnershipsAssist with M&A tax structuring, and internal restructuringDraft emails and memosDraft Firm-wide alerts on current developmentsAssist with Firm-wide trainingsAssist with Federal domestic tax due diligence in connection with M&A transactions
Basic Qualifications:
CPA or JD or LL.M (Tax)20+ years of progressive federal income tax consulting experience dealing with operating partnershipsStrong experience with various substantive partnership tax issues, including allocations, liabilities, capital shifts, continuations, divisions, and profits interests. Experience working at a large accounting firm
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong proficiency with ExcelStrong proficiency with tax research databases (Bloomberg
BNA, RIA

For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $300,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
