RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will handle sales and use tax compliance, and the preparation of monthly sales tax returns, which involves taking information from various data sources, processing through an internal software. Preparing and validating a high volume of sales tax returns Analyze data sets of varying degrees of complexity and troubleshoot inconsistencies using various processing documentation and methodologies. Leverage our internally developed processing software containing various exception points where a user will have to problem solve and perform some level of analysis and critical thinking. Skills sales and use tax tax compliance support sales tax Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills due to significant client interaction and the ability to work in-office in Nashville, TN as needed Must be able to work with tight deadlines and quick turnaround times
