Tax Associate TriStar Associates Tax and Business Solutions Hendersonville, TN 37075 Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to begin a career in tax accounting. You will gain hands-on experience preparing tax returns, assisting with compliance, and learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns Data Entry Support tax team in compiling and analyzing financial data Help gather necessary documentation for tax filings and communicate with clients on necessary items Conduct basic tax research and summarize findings Maintain organized records of tax documents and correspondence Stay up to date with current tax laws and regulations Participate in training and development programs to build tax knowledge Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong interest in tax and compliance work Internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of QuickBooks Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
