This vacancy is located in the Alcohol & Tobacco Control Division and is currently being announced for East Baton Rouge Parish. The Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) is responsible for overseeing the alcoholic beverage and tobacco industries within the State of Louisiana.
This position serves as the fleet manager and procurement liaison for the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control, managing the operation of a large and complex statewide Property Management, Surplus Inventory and Fleet Management System for ATC. Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Five years of experience in administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in administrative services; OR
An advanced degree plus one year of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Coordinates the entry of all monthly fleet data into appropriate asset management platforms
Coordinates the acquisition of new fleet vehicles by acting as the primary liaison between the division and LPAA.
Prepares application for title, registration and license plates for division fleet vehicles, and delivers applicable forms to the Office of Motor Vehicles.
Reviews departmental Driver Authorization forms for completeness and accuracy.
Acts as assistant property manager for the accountability, inventory, and asset verification with Hand Receipt holders within ATC.
Review and update the ATC Safety and Loss Prevention Manual. Ensure that quarterly Safety inspections of the ATC facility are conducted to ensure the safety of the ATC employees, public and facility.

- Detail to Special Duty Current permanent status classified state employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if selected.
