Primary job duties include:

Reviewing, examining, and processing property tax exempt applications to ensure compliance. Providing customer service to taxpayers, taxpayer representatives, or county representatives. Reviewing correspondence concerning denials and requests for additional information. Reviewing customer accounts to verify receipt and status of applications submitted. Assisting taxpayers navigating MyDORWAY to submit applications, removing previously exempted real/personal property, and checking application status. Minimum and Additional Requirements High school diploma or G.E.D. Previous call center experience Data entry experience (keying preference 35 – 50 wpm) Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing A bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or tax preparation or analysis An associate’s degree and three years of experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or tax preparation or analysis A high school diploma and five years of experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or tax preparation or analysis A bachelor’s degree with multiple accounting courses

Hours :

Work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week). Telework schedule : This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week. Ready to apply?
