Primary job duties include:
Providing customer service to help resolve tax related questions and issues. Processing business registrations for retail licenses and withholding, admissions, and coin operated device tax accounts. Reviewing and processing Power of Attorney submissions and system work items. Using tax systems to adjust and/or correct taxpayers’ accounts. Making suggestions and/or recommendations to improve existing practices or processes.
Minimum and Additional Requirements Either:
A bachelor’s degree OR An associate’s degree and one year of directly related work experience OR A high school diploma and three years of directly related work experience Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning. Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience Considerable knowledge of office/business practices, procedures, and equipment

Training :
Taxpayer Assistance Officers will participate in a training program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to successfully perform their job.
Hours :
On-site work hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
