A CPA firm is seeking a Tax Advisory Manager to support small business owners and high-net-worth individuals with proactive, year-round tax planning as part of a team focused on doing taxes differently. This is an in-office position in the Dothan, AL area.

Compensation:

$90,000 to $120,000
This role involves expertise with a wide range of tax advisory services, to name a few: Entity & compensation optimization
Real estate industry strategies (Asset sales, Depreciation, 1031, Real estate professional, etc.) Workhorse strategies (Augusta, Accountable plan, travel optimization, etc)
Retirement optimization
You’ll be a great fit if: You live in or close to Dothan, AL
You like to find ways to save people money on taxes
You have a solid understanding of how the tax code works (specifically for business entities) You want to host tax planning kickoff calls, implementation calls, and quarterly calls to help provide tax advisory services to our clients throughout the year
You are skilled at preparing and reviewing returns that showcase the final tax savings our clients will receive You will be interested and intrigued when complex clients are signed up and are uniquely interested in spotting potential tax errors when reviewing a client’s accounting system
You want to help train internal staff and build an incredible tax advisory team
Finding new tax savings strategies for clients is exciting to you.
To be considered, you’ll need:
To live in Dothan, AL or close enough to go into the office daily
5+ years in public accounting doing boring tax work
1+ years of managing a team of 3 people or less
A CPA license, be an Enrolled Agent or have an LLM/JD in tax
