We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to oversee and manage our tax compliance and planning efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate and individual taxation, ensuring that our organization adheres to all relevant tax regulations while optimizing our tax strategies. Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the company and its subsidiaries.
Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize tax liabilities and enhance financial performance.
Review and analyze tax returns prepared by staff and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to provide timely advice to management.
Provide guidance and training to junior staff on tax compliance and planning issues.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a focus on corporate, individual, and partnership taxation.
Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
