Responsibilities:
Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporationsand partnerships for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 toemerging businesses Participate with accounting for income taxes including ASC740 Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provideindustry knowledge and experience; manage a portfolio of clients ofvarying size and scope and act as the first point of contact forinternal and external clients Build and maintain client relationships, monitor teams of taxprofessionals and assistants working on client projects; involveand contribute to market and business activities external to thefirm Oversee risk and financial performance of engagements includingbilling, collections and the project budgets Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high qualitytax service and advice
Qualifications:
Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in anaccounting firm, corporation and/or law firm Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM with strong knowledge of ASC 740, inaddition to others on KPMG’s approved credential listing; anyindividual who does not possess at least one of the approveddesignations/credentials when their employment commences, has oneyear from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approveddesignations/credentials; should you like to see the complete listof currently approved designations/credentials for the hiringpractice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with thatlist Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations andpartnerships Prior experience managing multiple client engagements andclient service teams Excellent advisory, compliance, verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to articulate complexinformation KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displayingsalary ranges.
