We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, compliance, and reporting for our organization while ensuring adherence to tax regulations. The Tax Manager will play a key role in optimizing our tax strategies and providing guidance on tax-related matters within the aviation industry. Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for the organization.
Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
Provide guidance on corporate tax matters and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Conduct tax research and analysis to support planning strategies and business decisions.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect the organization.
Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statement disclosures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or EA designation preferred.
5+ years of experience in tax management, with a strong focus on corporate tax.
In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and accounting practices.
Experience in the aviation industry is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
