Job Overview:

We are searching for a highly competent and dedicated Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. As a key member of our Tax department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax and financial services to our clients. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring compliance, maximizing financial efficiency, and delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

1.

Tax Planning and Compliance:

Conduct thorough tax planning for individuals and businesses, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities while adhering to all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Prepare, review, and file complex tax returns, including federal, state, and local filings, for a diverse client base.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of tax code changes and their implications on clients’ financial situations.

Financial Advice and Savings:

Collaborate with clients to analyze their financial goals, providing expert guidance on investment strategies, retirement planning, and Tax Savings Strategies. Offer comprehensive financial advice, helping clients make informed decisions to optimize their financial well-being.
3.

Client Relationship Management:

Establish and nurture strong client relationships by becoming a trusted financial advisor.

Communicate financial and tax information clearly and concisely to clients, addressing their concerns and questions.

Regularly review and update clients on their financial progress and potential tax-saving opportunities.
4.

Tax Notices and Resolution:

Represent clients in the event of tax audits, assisting in gathering necessary documentation and responding to tax authorities’ inquiries.

Work diligently to resolve tax issues in clients’ best interests, including negotiating settlements when required.
5.

Recordkeeping and Compliance:

Maintain meticulous financial records and documentation for clients, ensuring compliance with recordkeeping requirements.

Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
6.

Professional Ethics and Standards:

Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards set forth by the

IRS, AICPA

(for CPAs), and other relevant governing bodies.

Safeguard client confidentiality and sensitive financial information.
7.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including other EAs and CPAs, to share expertise and provide comprehensive financial services.

Participate in team meetings, knowledge sharing, and continuing education.

Qualifications:

Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

At least 8 of experience in tax preparation and accounting.

Proficiency in tax software, accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), and financial analysis tools.

In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal and state.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate results.

A track record of ethical and professional conduct.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
