Tax Senior Manager, Specialized Tax Services Partnerships Join to apply for the Tax Senior Manager, Specialized Tax Services Partnerships role at BDO USA Job Description As a Tax Senior Manager, Partnerships, you will advise clients on the tax implications of their business objectives and partnership-specific items, including but not limited to section 704(b) and taxable income allocations, capital account maintenance, liability analysis, and TRA calculations. You will apply your knowledge to understand partnership taxation issues and assist in preparing related computations. This role involves active participation in marketing, business development, process improvement, team-building, maintaining client relationships, and guiding team members. Job Responsibilities Maintain and develop expertise in partnership taxation issues. Conduct or organize external CPE training sessions annually. Mentor associates, senior associates, and managers. Identify research needs; frame issues; report analysis clearly. Develop and recommend tax strategies to maximize client benefits and manage risks. Lead marketing campaigns and present complex strategies to clients. Supervise and review work of team members; provide performance feedback. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics; Master’s preferred. Minimum of 8 years of relevant tax experience, including partnership expertise and supervisory roles. CPA, Attorney, or EA certification preferred. Skills & Abilities Strong communication, analytical, research, and leadership skills. Ability to develop teams and maintain client relationships. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
