We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedPermanent Tax Senior Manager to join our growing Accounting Financeteam. The successful candidate will play acritical role in managing the company’s tax strategies, ensuringcompliance with tax laws, and supervising the tax team. Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective tax planningstrategies that align with the company’s business objectives. 2.Manage and supervise the preparation and review of corporatefederal and state income tax returns and estimates, and ensuretimely and accurate filings. 3. Oversee the preparation ofquarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC740, including the determination and documentation of uncertain taxpositions. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to providetax guidance and advice on business transactions, includingmergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. 5. Manage tax audits andinquiries by various taxation authorities, and negotiate tax auditsettlements when necessary. 6. Stay abreast of changes in federal,state, and local tax laws and regulations, and assess their impacton the company’s tax position. 7. Provide leadership, direction,and training to the tax team, fostering an environment ofcontinuous learning and improvement. 8. Develop and maintain strongrelationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or arelated field. A Master’s degree in Taxation or a CPA certificationis highly desirable. 2. A minimum of 5 years of progressiveexperience in corporate tax management, preferably in theAccounting Finance industry. 3. Extensive knowledge of federal,state, and local tax laws and regulations, and experience with ASC740 and uncertain tax positions. 4. Proven experience in taxplanning and strategy development. 5. Strong leadership skills,with a track record of managing and developing high-performingteams. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with theability to make sound decisions under pressure. 7. Stronginterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability toeffectively communicate complex tax issues to non-taxprofessionals. 8. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft OfficeSuite, particularly Excel. 9. Ability to work independently andmanage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 10.
